A bright, generous leather bag recalling the strong red colour worn by the Sami people, of northern Norway, Sweden, Finland and the Kola Peninsula of Russia. Known as 'The People of the Sun', the colour red is thought to symbolise the sun and its life-giving fire, bound up in the Sun deity Beivve.
